Our Story

Paul and I have been happily married for 28 years and have been involved in ministry during this time.  Paul was saved at the age of 17 and I was saved at the age of 7.  God has richly blessed our lives and His grace has been sufficient throughout each day of our lives.  We have been blessed with 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls. Both girls are married, our eldest son is single, and our youngest son is currently living at home.

Throughout our lives, we have been committed to many facets of the ministry including children's and youth ministry, men's and ladies' ministries along with Paul being a regular at the pulpit.  We are, at present, involved in our local church where Paul co-Pastors.  Paul has a deep love for God's Word and a heart to serve in ministry and bless the body of Christ.

We pray that this site will be a blessing to you and encourage you with your walk with the Lord.

God's love and richest blessings,

Paul and Jas

What We Believe

* We believe in the God of Israel as the One true God; a Triune God in three persons of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. He alone is to be worshipped as prescribed in scripture.

* We believe that Jesus Christ, eternally existing, is the only begotten Son of God, who became a sinless man to redeem us. He was born of a virgin and is true God and true man. (Luke 1:30-55; John 1:1-15; Philip 2:5-8)

* We believe that the Holy Spirit is equal with God the Father and God the Son. He is present in the world to convict of sin, of righteousness and of judgement to come. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living. (John 14:16-17, 26; 16:7-14; Romans 8:14-16)

* We believe in the doctrinal infallibility of the original manuscripts of the Old and New Testaments in the original languages and in the historicity of these Scriptures.

* We believe in the complete Bible constituting the supreme authority for our faith and ministry. We accept the Bible as the only basis of true doctrine.

* We believe in salvation through the New Birth experience by repentance and faith in Jesus alone as the only provision for man's sin. We hold that Jesus took our sin and gave us His righteousness and we must personally accept Him and remain faithful to Him on the basis of Scripture.

* We believe that man is fallen and so is creation. It is impossible for man to justify himself before a perfect God. Man was created in the image of God but fell through sin, bringing not only physical death, but also spiritual death or eternal separation from God. Now all of mankind exists as a fallen race with an inherited sinful nature. (Gen 2:16; Gen 3:16-19; Romans 3:10-23; Romans 6:23)

* We believe that God created everything out of nothing for his own pleasure and purpose.

* We believe in two ordinances, neither of which is essential to salvation, are to be observed in obedience to our Lord by all believers until Christ's return: baptism and the Lord's Supper.

* We believe in a pre-millenium return of Christ at which time He will establish His millenium Kingdom on earth.

* We believe that Gentiles who truly accept Jesus replace Jews who reject Him; however these are incorporated into Israel in a spiritual sense (on the basis of Romans 11), rather than the church replacing Israel - a teaching which we hold to be error.

* We believe God's prophetic plan for the salvation of the world is bound up with His prophetic plan for the regathering and salvation of Israel.

* We believe the gifts of the Spirit, including charismatic gifts, continue to operate in the church. However, we reject any form of charismatic or Pentecostal extremism, and reject totally any form of tradition-based or experiential theology.

* We hold to believer's baptism.

* We also seek for the unity of the Spirit, such unity seen as with other Bible-based evangelical Christians, churches and ministries - even where we may not share all the same non-essential doctrines. However we do not hold to unity with versions of Christianity that have a different doctrine of salvation and a basis of doctrinal authority other than the Bible.
